Jimmies
The classic birthday cake sprinkle, jimmies are the sprinkle most people picture first. These rod-shaped sprinkles come in countless colors, finishes, and themed mixes, from traditional rainbow blends to metallic and shimmering styles. Their waxy coating helps prevent colors from bleeding, making them one of the most versatile sprinkles available. Use jimmies to decorate cakes, cupcakes, cookies, donuts, and ice cream, or stir them directly into cake batter to create homemade funfetti-style cakes. If you're looking for an all-purpose sprinkle that performs well both before and after baking, jimmies are hard to beat. Shop our

Nonpareils
Tiny but eye-catching, nonpareils are small sugar beads that add color, texture, and sparkle to all kinds of treats. Their name comes from the French word meaning "without equal," and they've remained a decorating favorite for generations. Nonpareils work especially well on cake pops, dipped pretzels, petit fours, cookies, and chocolate-covered treats where a little decoration goes a long way. Because their colored shells can release dye when exposed to moisture, they aren't the best choice for cake batter, wet icing, or soft cookie dough. For crisp finishes and delicate details, however, nonpareils are a timeless choice. Shop our

Sanding Sugar
Sanding sugar, sometimes called decorating sugar, is prized for the beautiful sparkle it adds to baked goods. Slightly coarser than everyday granulated sugar, these colorful crystals catch the light while providing a light, pleasant crunch. Sanding sugar is perfect for topping frosted sugar cookies, cupcakes, cakes, muffins, and holiday treats. Available in a rainbow of colors as well as shimmering finishes, it's an easy way to add a polished look with minimal effort. Shop our

Coarse Sugar Crystals
For maximum sparkle and texture, coarse sugar crystals make a dramatic finishing touch. These larger sugar crystals provide more shine and crunch than sanding sugar and are available in vibrant colors, iridescent finishes, and elegant pearlized styles. Sprinkle them over cookies, muffins, pie crusts, and cakes to add eye-catching dimension and a bakery-style finish that stands out. Shop our

Shaped Sprinkles
Shaped sprinkles bring personality and storytelling to your desserts. This category includes both quins (also called confetti or edible sequins) and molded candy sprinkles. Quins are thin, flat shapes made from colored sugar dough that provide a touch of crunch without bleeding their color. Candy sprinkles are thicker pieces with embossed details and a firmer bite, similar to classic pressed candies (Runts). Because candy sprinkle coatings can release color when wet, they are best used as decorative accents after baking. Shop our

Edible Sugar Pearls
Elegant and timeless, sugar pearls add sophistication to cakes, cookies, cupcakes, and edible favors. Available in a wide variety of colors, finishes, and sizes, they're especially popular for wedding desserts, anniversaries, and formal celebrations. Depending on the size and style, some sugar pearls can be quite firm, so we recommend using them thoughtfully as decorative accents rather than by the handful. A few well-placed pearls can instantly elevate the look of a dessert. Shop our

Edible Glitter
If you love a little sparkle, edible glitter delivers instant drama. From subtle pearlescent shimmer to bold metallic effects, edible glitter is available in countless colors, flakes, shapes, and finishes. Dust it over buttercream, cookies, chocolate-dipped treats, and fondant decorations to create a glamorous finishing touch. Whether you're decorating a princess cake, holiday cookies, or elegant wedding desserts, edible glitter helps your creations shine. Shop our

Sprinkles Mixes
Why choose just one sprinkle when you can have them all? From seasonal holidays and birthdays to baby showers and graduations, themed mixes make it easy to coordinate your desserts with any celebration. Shop our

Metallic Dragees
Onto the most controversial sprinkle of them all! Metallic dragees! Metallic dragees, pronounced "drah-jays", are hard sugar pieces coated in a non-edible metallic finish. These are the sprinkles with the most brilliant shine. Unfortunately, these beautiful sprinkles are non-edible. In fact, they are not even allowed to be sold or shipped to California!
Our most common question is, "why even carry 'em if we can't eat 'em?". These dragees are simply gorgeous on decorative pieces that will be removed before serving or items not eaten. For example, we use dragees on gingerbread houses, in the center of gum paste flowers, and on display cakes. Do you have a customer who really wants the metallic design on a tiered cake? We recommend the tier embellished with dragees to be a
styrofoam dummy underneath, while the other tiers are real. This way the customer gets the desired look without having to remove all the tiny dragees or risking guests eating the metallic dragees. Shop our
selection of metallic dragees.
