Instructions

Prepare Cake:

Roll and Apply Fondant:
Roll out fondant on a non-stick mat to the size of the parchment.
Place parchment on fondant and cut it to the correct size.
Dust fondant lightly and apply it to the cake, smoothing with hands and a fondant smoother.
Trim excess fondant with a paring knife.
Top of the Cake:
Roll out another piece of fondant, slightly larger than the cake diameter.
Brush the top of the cake with piping gel and apply fondant, trimming excess with a paring knife.
Use a fondant smoother to blend the seam.
Drip Effect:
Microwave the commercial cake drip for 30 seconds, shake well.
Create drips in varying lengths around the cake.
Add cake drip to the top and spread with an angled spatula.
Pearl Border:
Use Wilton damask silicone mold and white fondant to create a pearl border. Apply piping gel to the bottom edge of the cake and attach the pearl border.

Mix green edible paint and apply a coat to the pearl border using a small paintbrush.
Buttercream Rope Border:
Use a piping bag with tip #1g and white buttercream to pipe a thick rope border around the top edge of the cake.
