Instructions
Prepare the Mold: These three-part molds make molded chocolate making a breeze! Use 6" - 6 1/2" sucker sticks for the best fit.
Fill the Mold: Take the bottom piece of the mold and fill it to the line with melted chocolate.
Insert Placement: Gently place the inserts on top of the melted chocolate.
Top Piece Alignment: Line the top piece over the inserts, pressing lightly to allow the chocolate to fill the entire cavity.
Set the Chocolate: Turn the mold over and allow the chocolate to set.
Remove Inserts: Remove the top liner and inserts.
Make the Cake Pop Dough:
Choose Your Cake: You can use any type of prebaked cake to create cake pop dough, whether from scratch or a box mix.
Crumble the Cake:
By Hand: Gives you more control over the texture.
Stand Mixer: Saves time and creates a smoother dough. Use the paddle attachment.
Mix with Binder: Combine the cake crumbs with a binder, such as frosting.
Start Small: Add a small amount of binder and gradually increase until the mixture holds together.
Check Consistency: The dough should be moist and pliable, not too sticky. It should hold its shape when rolled into a ball without crumbling or cracking. It should have a texture similar to playdoh.
Test the Dough: Once there are no lumps or signs of frosting, roll a small portion of the dough into a ball. It should hold its shape without sticking to your hands.
Assemble the Cake Pops:
Add Cake Pop Dough: Press the cake pop dough into the mold, leaving room for more melted chocolate, and seal the mold.
Set Again: Allow the chocolate to set.
Turn Out Cake Pops: Turn out the molded cake pops onto a piece of parchment paper.
Decorate:
Drizzle: Drizzle each cake pop sucker with melted chocolate.
Sprinkle: Immediately add sprinkles.
Finish: Spray with some jewel dust to finish.
