Instructions
Bake and Cool Cupcakes:
Prepare and bake your favorite cupcake recipe.
Allow cupcakes to cool completely.
Make Chocolate Eggs:
Melt white candy coating in a microwave-safe bowl.
Transfer melted coating to a piping bag.
Fill the egg cavity in a mold with chocolate.
Freeze until candy is firm, then invert eggs onto parchment paper. With some melted chocolate, glue 2 eggs halves together to form a whole egg.
Mix bronze luster dust with grain alcohol and the deep brown elite color with grain alcohol. With a brush, splatter paint onto chocolate eggs. Let Dry.
Prepare Buttercream:
Make green buttercream for spreading and piping tip 1M & #350.
Make brown buttercream for creating nests, piping tip #234, grass tip.
Decorate Nest Cupcakes:
Spread a smooth layer of green buttercream onto cupcakes.
Pipe a nest near the cupcake's outside edge using brown buttercream and grass tip #234.
Pipe a small mound of green buttercream in the nest and place a chocolate egg.
Pipe green leaves around the egg and nest as desired.
Attach a mini daffodil flower near the egg using buttercream.
Decorate Rosette Cupcakes:
Pipe a rosette in the center using a 1M tip.
Sprinkle cupcakes with green shred or jimmies before the buttercream crusts over.
Attach mini icing flowers around the rosette.
Place a Happy Easter Gemstone pick in the center of the piped rosette.
