  • 2/3 cup Corn Syrup
  • 3/4 cup Water
  • 1 dram Flavoring

Instructions

1. In a heavy saucepan, heat sugar, corn syrup, and water over medium heat. Stir until the sugar dissolves. 2. Insert a candy thermometer into the mixture. Bring to a boil without stirring. 3. Early in the cooking process, wash down the sides of the saucepan. 4. Cook the mixture, without stirring, until it reaches 260F then add desired color. Do not stir in, the boiling action will incorporate the color. 5. Remove from heat once the mixture reaches 300F. Once the boiling has ceased, add flavoring and stir. 6. Carefully pour the mixture into your molds. 7. If not using molds, pour the mixture onto a lightly greased silicone mat. Once the candy starts to set up, score with a knife.
