Welcome to the land of glitter and magic—where this gingerbread house is all about unicorns! With its pretty pastel colors, this magical unicorn gingerbread house was a young fan favorite. The gingerbread roof and walls were flooded with with royal icing to create a bright, clean base for fashioning a unicorn shaped house. A waffle cone was coated in pink royal icing and rolled into shimmering sanding sugar to create an edible unicorn horn. To make the little marshmallow unicorns a silicone horn and ear mold and fondant was used. A 1M tip was used to create both the unicorn mane and fluffy cloud covering. Then of course, everything was covered in edible glitter to add a magical sparkle!

This artistic twist on a gingerbread house is sure to impress. The creator made edible paint by using powdered food coloring and grain alcohol (lemon extract can be used too). Rolled fondant created the perfect canvas for painting Van Gogh's Starry Night. The fondant was simply rolled out, cut to size, and allowed to dry before painting. Once the painted roof tiles were dry they were attached to the gingerbread roof.
