Black Currant (Cassis) has a sweet, grape-like flavor. In Europe black currant is as popular as grape in the United States. This flavor can be used in a wide range of baking and other applications requiring a water soluble flavor.

In your typical cake or cookie recipe, we recommend using one teaspoon or 0.50% by weight of the dry ingredients in your baking mix.
