Pastry Rulers allow you to create perfect thicknesses for cut out cookies, pastry dough, rolled fondant, gum paste, and chocolate. Set includes two each of pink: 2mm (1/16"), aqua: 5mm (3/16"), and lime: 7mm (1/4") pastry rulers. Rulers are made of high quality food-grade plastic. Each ruler is 18 inches long and has recessed markings for inches down to 1/16 of an inch and centimeters down to 1mm. Wash rulers in warm, soapy water. Not dishwasher safe.
To use with cookie and pastry dough: Lay a sheet of parchment paper or a silicone mat on the work surface. Set the 5mm rulers (7mm for thick cookies or pastries) on each side of the parchment paper. Place cookie dough or pastry dough between the rulers. Roll over the rulers to evenly flatten.
To use with rolled fondant or gum paste: Lightly dust the work surface with powdered sugar. Lay the 2mm rulers on the prepared work surface. Place gum paste or rolled fondant between the rulers. Roll over the rulers to evenly flatten.
To use with chocolate: Lay a sheet of parchment paper, a silicone mat, or a chocolate transfer sheet on the work surface. Put the 2mm rulers on each side of the paper (or silicone mat or transfer sheet). Pour melted chocolate onto the paper. Drag one 5mm or 7mm ruler over the 2mm rulers to evenly spread the melted chocolate.
