Round tips are used for lines, stems, cornelli (pattern or random, continuous squiggles), swirls, dots, balls, writing, stringwork, lacework, figure piping, run sugar pictures, flower centers, dot borders, outlining, etc. Larger round tips can be used for piping swirls on the tops of cupcakes.
