Springform pans refer to the construction of the style of pans that feature removable sides and base. This style of pan is ideal for anything that will not easily invert out of a standard cake. Springform pans are most commonly used for cheesecake and tortes, but can also be used for bread, quiche and more. Springform pans may not create a seal at the bottom edge so they are best used with products that aren't too thin and runny.
