  • White Decorating Buttercream Icing
  • #12 Round Opening Stainless Stainless Steel Piping Tip
  • Red Sanding Sugar
  • Blue Sanding Sugar

Preheat your oven according to the package directions for the premium cake mix.
Prepare the cake batter according to the package directions.
Line your cupcake tray with blue cupcake liners.
Fill each cupcake liner with the prepared cake batter, following the recommended amount.
Bake the cupcakes in the preheated oven according to the package directions. Once baked, remove from the oven and allow them to cool completely.
Prepare your buttercream frosting and fit a piping bag with a #12 piping tip.
Once the cupcakes are cooled, pipe a swirl of buttercream onto the top of each cupcake using the piping bag.
Immediately dredge the edge of buttercream in the sanding sugar.
Finally, insert the sugar star flag into the center of each cupcake.
