Instructions
Cookie Preparation:
Roll out your favorite sugar cookie dough and cut out egg shapes using the 3-part bunny cookie cutter. Bake the cookies according to your recipe's instructions and let them cool completely.
Prepare and color your favorite royal icing recipe. Flood consistency icing in white, pink, blue and green. Medium consistency icing in black.
Decorating the Bunny Head:
Outline and flood the inside of both bunny ears using pink flood consistency icing.
Smooth the icing with a scribe tool. Outline the entire bunny head in white flood consistency icing. Allow the outline to set.
Flood the remaining space on the bunny head with white icing, smooth with a scribe tool, and set aside to dry completely.
Once dry, use pink icing to pipe the bunny's nose.
Use black medium consistency icing to pipe the eyes and mouth.
Decorating the Bunny Body:
Outline the body of the bunny with white flood icing and set aside to dry.
Once dry, flood and smooth the white icing on the bunny's body.
After the icing is set, pipe circles on either side of the cookie using your chosen colors to create the bunny's paws.
Decorating the Egg:
Outline the egg in your desired color of flood consistency icing and set aside to allow the outline to set.
When the outline is dry, flood and smooth the icing on the egg.
While the icing is still wet, pipe different colors of lines in flood consistency to add decorative details.
Set aside to dry completely.
