Instructions

Outline the Cookies:
Use flood consistency white royal icing to carefully trace the shape of each cookie.
Set the cookies aside to allow the outlines to dry and form a crust.
Flood the Cookies:
Fill each outlined cookie with flood consistency royal icing, ensuring complete coverage within the outlined area. Use a scribe too to gently remove any air bubbles and smooth out the icing surface.
Allow the flooded icing to set up completely by letting the cookies air dry overnight.
Stencil Application:
Once the flooded icing has dried, place your chosen stencil onto the cookie. Secure the stencil in place using a frame holder.
Position your airbrush gun directly above the stencil at a 90-degree angle. This angle helps prevent paint from slipping under the stencil and smudging the design.
Work with light, even strokes, gradually building up the color intensity. Avoid applying too much paint at once to prevent bleeding or smudging.
After applying the desired color, carefully lift the stencil straight up from the cookie to avoid smudging the paint.
Allow the painted design to dry completely before proceeding with additional decorating steps.
Color the Cookies:
Once the stencil design is dry, use edible food color decorating pens to color in between the lines of the cookies.
By following these detailed steps, you can create beautifully decorated cookies with intricate stencil designs and vibrant colors.
