Instructions

Prepare your favorite royal icing.
Flood Consistency Royal Icing: white, light blue, royal blue, red and ivory
Medium Consistency Royal Icing: light blue, royal blue, red and black
Firework Cookie:
Outline the entire cookie using white flood consistency royal icing. Let it set for 5-10 minutes at room temperature to form a base.
Flood the cookie with white royal icing and use a scribe tool to smooth the surface evenly. While the icing is still wet, write "BOOM" in royal blue flood icing.
Allow the cookie to set aside for about 30 minutes until the icing has dried. Once dry, outline the top and bottom sections of the firework using blue and red flood icing respectively.
After outlining, let the icing set for another 5-10 minutes. Then, flood the red section and smooth it out with a scribe tool. While the icing is still wet, pipe white diagonal stripes to create the firework effect.
Allow the red section to set slightly, then flood the blue section and smooth it out. While the blue icing is still wet, pipe stars using light blue flood icing.
Leave the cookie to set up completely before proceeding. Using a scribe tool, mark where the firework lines will be for guidance.
Pipe stars using light blue, royal blue, and red medium consistency royal icing. For the finishing touch, pipe a line at the end of the firework in red royal icing and use a fine tip edible food marker to write "sizzle".
Bomb Pop Popsicle Cookie:
Begin by outlining the popsicle part of the cookie with white flood consistency royal icing, creating a defined shape. Then, pipe two horizontal lines across the popsicle to divide it into three sections.
Allow the icing to set for 5-10 minutes at room temperature. Flood the top section of the popsicle with red flood icing, ensuring it covers the outlined area completely. Use a scribe tool to guide the icing and smooth out any unevenness.
While the red icing is still wet, fill in the middle section with white flood royal icing and smooth it out with a scribe tool. Repeat the process for the final section using light blue flood icing.
Set the cookie aside to dry at room temperature until the icing is fully set. Once dry, outline and flood the popsicle stick with ivory royal icing, completing the popsicle design. Allow the cookie to set up completely before handling or serving.
Stars & Stripes Cookie:
Outline the entire cookie with white flood royal icing. Allow the icing to dry for 5 minutes to form a base layer.
Flood the entire cookie with white flood icing, using a scribe tool to smooth out the surface evenly. Allow the icing to dry completely before moving on to the next step.
Prepare a stencil by using the design backing that came with the cookie cutter and cover it with food-grade tissue paper. Use a black edible food marker to trace over the desired lettering onto the tissue paper.
Transfer the tissue paper stencil onto the cookie, ensuring it is centered and aligned correctly. Apply pressure to the stencil to ensure the marker bleeds through onto the icing, leaving behind the traced lettering.
Once the lettering is traced onto the cookie, use red and royal blue medium consistency royal icing to pipe over the stencil, filling in the thicker parts of the letters. Use a scribe tool to smooth out the icing and create clean, defined lines.
Star Sunglasses Cookie:
Begin by outlining and flooding each star lens of the sunglasses cookie with light blue flood royal icing. Allow the icing to dry for 5-10 minutes to set slightly.
Outline one lens with royal blue flood icing, trace the outline again so you have a thick border. Use a scribe tool to smooth. Repeat the process with the other lens using red flood royal icing. Let the icing dry.
Pipe the arms and bands of the sunglasses using a combination of red, light blue, and royal blue flood icing. Ensure the colors are distinct and vibrant.
With a fine-tip edible food marker, write "USA" separated by dots around the rims of the star lenses, adding a patriotic touch to the cookie design.
Allow the icing to set up completely before handling or serving the cookies, ensuring the decorations remain intact.
