Pre-made edible lace is convenient and easy to use. Lace can be colored by dusting it with luster or petal dust. To attach lace to your cake, lightly brush the backside of the edges with water, thinned piping gel, or tylose glue. Too much moisture can cause the lace to dissolve. Lace is flexible and can easily be formed around curved and round surfaces.
