Ingredients and Supplies
6", 8", 10" square 2-layer fondant covered cakes
paisley chablon mat
isomalt or isomalt sticks
small silicone bowls
silicone mat
piping gel

Prepare and stack cakes on drum or pedestal. Place the chablon stencil on a silicone mat. Melt small amounts of isomalt in silicone baking cups using the microwave. Pour the isomalt into each cavity in the stencil. Use a toothpick if necessary to move the isomalt into all the corners and crevasses. Let the isomalt harden and then peel back the chablon stencil. Attach pieces to cake using piping gel.Note: Paisleys can be done in colored candy-coating as well.
