baked and cooled standard size cupcakes
chocolate buttercream
dark chocolate candy coating
gold swirl transfer sheet

To make the chocolate pieces place the thinnest size perfection strips on both sides of a piece of gold swirl transfer sheet. Pour melted coating over the transfer sheet. Use a cookie sheet with a straight edge and drag over the perfection strips. When coating has almost set use cookie cutters to punch out various shapes, using the same shape cutter to cut a smaller shape within the larger shape. When completely set remove pieces and transfer backing.

Fill pastry bag fitted with #21 tip and pipe swirl on top of cupcake. Start at the outside edge and work toward the center. Place chocolate pieces on top of cupcake.
