Ingredients and Supplies
  • jumbo cupcakes
  • Geometric Triangle Stencil Set
  • black rolled fondant
  • 3 1/4" round cutter
  • handgun chocolate mold
  • milk chocolate candy coating
  • fondant smoother
  • lime green dusting powder
  • silver dusting powder
  • super gold dusting powder
  • lemon oil or grain alcohol
  • brushes
  • rolling pin
  • toothpicks
Melt candy coating and fill mold. Place in freezer until set. Mix dusting powders with lemon oil or grain alcohol to make a paint. Paint guns desired colors.

Roll fondant to desired thickness. Lightly grease the back of the stencil with solid vegetable shortening. Wipe off excess grease so that there is barely any left on the stencil. The shortening should not be visible.
Place stencil A, greased side down, on the rolled fondant. Roll over the stencil with a rolling pin, applying pressure as you roll. The pressure will slightly embed the stencil into the fondant and prevent the stencil from slipping. To add the first layer of color, dip a soft bristle brush into luster dust mixed with lemon oil or grain alcohol and paint every other open space with the green paint leaving some black spaces showing. Remove stencil A carefully by the rounded flap and lift from the fondant slowly. Allow paint to dry.
Lay stencil B over the sheet of fondant that has been colored using stencil A, lining up the design. Using a fondant smoother, gently press the stencil to slightly embed the second stencil. Do not rub the smoother back and forth. To add the second layer of color, dip a soft bristle brush into luster dust mixed with lemon oil or grain alcohol and paint every other open space with the gold paint. During this process it is important not to add too much paint. The colors will bleed and not give a clean look. Remove stencil B by the rounded flap and lift from the fondant slowly. Allow paint to dry.
Lay stencil C over the sheet of fondant that has been colored using stencil A and B, lining up the design. Using a fondant smoother, gently press the stencil to slightly embed the second stencil. Do not rub the smoother back and forth. To add the third layer of color, dip a soft bristle brush into luster dust mixed with lemon oil or grain alcohol and paint every other open space with the gold paint. During this process it is important not to add too much paint. The colors will bleed and not give a clean look. Remove stencil C by the rounded flap and lift from the fondant slowly. Allow paint to dry.

Use round cutter to cut fondant pieces and attach to top of cupcake using piping gel. Using a toothpick for stability, place guns on top of cupcake.
