Instructions

For the Hurdled Bunnies:
Whether using ready-made candy writers or crafting your own, begin by placing a few cocoa dark candy melt wafers into a tipless piping bag. Secure the bag with a microwave-safe rubber band or tape, and melt the chocolate in the microwave using short intervals, kneading between each until it reaches a fluid and smooth consistency. Cut a small tip off the end of the bag and use it to meticulously paint intricate details within the candy mold, such as the inner ear and nose. Repeat this process with white candy coating to pipe in the eyes and cottontail, allowing them to set up.
Next, melt the cocoa lite candy melts by placing them in a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave for 30 seconds, stir, and continue microwaving in short intervals until almost melted. Remove from the microwave, stir until completely melted, and pour the melted coating into a squeeze bottle or piping bag. Squeeze the coating into the mold, filling almost to the top. Tap the mold to remove air bubbles and freeze until the candy feels cold and the mold is cloudy, typically 15-20 minutes. The candies should easily fall out; if not, leave them in the freezer longer. To add dimension to the eyes, pipe a small drop of cocoa light in the white of the eyes.
For the Carrots:
Melt the green and orange candy melts separately and place them in tipless piping bags. Fill the leafy section of the carrot mold with green chocolate, ensuring it's only halfway full to prevent any potential leakage. Then, use orange chocolate to fill the remaining section. Go back and fill in both colors to ensure the cavities are completely full. Tap the mold on your work surface to settle the chocolate and bring any air bubbles to the top. Refrigerate the filled mold for 15-20 minutes. Afterward, invert the mold and tap it to release the chocolate pieces. If necessary, refrigerate for an additional 5-10 minutes to ensure the chocolates are fully set.
To Display:
Crush Oreo pieces until you achieve a fine, dirt-like mixture and place it on the desired serving dish. Randomly place the bunnies and carrots on the Oreo "dirt" for an attractive and delicious display.
