Instructions

Prepare Decorations for Apple Stems:
Melt candy writers or place cocoa lite in a tipless bag and microwave for 20-second intervals, kneading until melted. Use this mixture to paint the apple stems onto the cake pops.
Melt the Candy Coating:
In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the candy coating in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth. If the coating is too thick, add paramount crystals to achieve the desired consistency.
Fill the Mold:
Pour the melted candy coating into a squeeze bottle for easy pouring. Begin by squeezing the coating into the mold cavities, starting at the top rim. Ensure thorough coverage of the cavity, especially the sides. Tap the mold to release any air bubbles.
Neaten the Mold:
Turn the mold over and allow excess candy coating to drip onto parchment paper or a silicone mat. Any excess can be remelted for later use. Once the excess has dripped off, invert the mold again and use a spatula to scrape away any remaining coating until the top rim of the cavities appears neat. Allow the candy-coated molds to set up at room temperature until hardened.
Prepare the Filling:
Mix buttercream frosting with crumbled cake until a cohesive ball forms. This mixture will serve as the filling for your cake pops.
Fill the Cavities:
Once the candy coating has set, fill the cavities of the mold with the cake mixture, leaving space at the top to seal in the cake with chocolate.
Seal the Cake Pops:
Squeeze more melted chocolate over the filled cavities to seal them. Use an angled spatula to smooth out any rough edges and ensure a neat finish.
Insert Popsicle Sticks:
Insert popsicle sticks into each cake pop and roll them to ensure they are covered in the candy coating.
Freeze the Cake Pops:
Place the mold in the freezer and allow the cake pops to chill until the coating is set and they feel cold.
Remove from Mold:
Once the chocolate coating is firm and the mold is cloudy, invert the mold. The cake pops should easily drop from the mold. If necessary, gently tap the mold to release them.
Serve:
Allow the cake pops to come to room temperature before serving. Now, your Apple Cake Pops are ready to be enjoyed!
