Snowflakes: Use cookie cutter to cut snowflake shapes out of your pressed cake pop mixture in the jelly roll pan. Prepare shapes for dipping by placing candy-coated sticks into the bottoms of your shapes. Place in refrigerator to set chocolate. It is very important to place stick half-way through the shape; failure to do so may result in the shape falling off the stick. Hold shape over the bowl full of candy coating and spoon coating over the shape. Allow excess coating to fall; be careful not to tap the shapes - tapping could loosen the hold of the stick. Quickly sprinkle sanding sugars over the entire shape. Place shape into holder and let dry.

Snowman: Roll cake mixture in to small and larger balls. You will want to make sure to use a denser cake for these cake balls because of the excess weight added by having two pieces together. Prepare for dipping by placing stick into candy coating; cover 1" of the stick. Carefully slide the larger ball onto the stick; pushing the stick all the way through the ball and leaving enough stick to go halfway through the small ball. Dip the bottom of the small ball in coating and place on top of larger ball. Place in holder and allow to dry. Spoon coating over the two balls to completely cover them and allow excess coating to drip off. Place back in holder and attach top hat before coating dries. While waiting for coating to dry, roll a piece of rolled fondant over a pattern sheet. Use a pastry roller to cut a thin strip about 4" long to make a scarf. Use a sharp knife to fringe the ends of the scarf then attach to the snowman with piping gel or candy coating. Roll a fondant nose and attach to the face. Attach candy pearls for buttons and eyes. Using a small parchment bag filled with white coating, draw a mouth and quickly sprinkle black non-pareils over the wet coating to make a mouth.
