Peppermint Cake Balls

- white cake mix
- 1 teaspoon peppermint extract
- white candy coating
- crushed peppermint
- approximately one cup buttercream icing
- cookie scoop
- 9 x 13 cake pan
- candy cups
- dipping tools
Bake white cake in a 9 x 13 pan. Allow to cool. Crumble cooled cake in a mixing bowl. Stir peppermint extract into the icing. Add icing to the crumbled cake a little at a time until mixture conforms to the shape of your hands. Use a cookie scoop to create uniform balls. Dip balls into white candy coating. Sprinkle crushed peppermint on the top immediately after dipping.
