Ingredients and Supplies
- 10 tablespoons butter
- 1 oz. Burgundy chocolate, chopped
- 6 tablespoons sifted cocoa powder
- 2 teaspoons Lorann gourmet coffee flavor
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 3 tablespoons corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- PIE CRUST
- Rolled pie dough
Line a 9" x 1 1/2" loose-based tart pan (sprayed with cooking oil spray) with rolled pie dough. Set oven for 350 degrees. Place baking sheet in lower third of oven. Gently melt the butter in the microwave, a few seconds at a time. Stir in the chocolate, cocoa, and flavor, stirring until the chocolate melts. Set aside. Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy; add sour cream, corn syrup and vanilla. Stir in the chocolate/butter mixture. Pour into prepared tart pan and bake 35-40 minutes until filling puffs and forms a crust. Cool. *Decorate with chocolate curls and serve with ice cream.
