Ingredients and Supplies
- pan of brownies
- vanilla ice cream, sliced ½" thick
- hot fudge ice cream topping
- whipped cream or whipped topping
- maraschino cherries
Using a 1 5/8" round cutter, cut brownie rounds. Using the same cutter, cut rounds out of the ice cream slices. Put ice cream rounds back into the freezer until ready to use. Fill plastic pastry bag with hot fudge; cut tip of bag to make a small opening. **Note: Depending on the type of hot fudge topping used, a short warming in the microwave may be needed to make using the pastry bag easier. Fill an additional pastry bag, fitted with a large star tip, with whipped cream or topping. To assemble, layer brownie round, ice cream round, and hot fudge until tube is filled. Push brownie and ice cream rounds down gently, to squeeze layers together. Place lid on tube and place in freezer until ready to serve. Remove lid and garnish with whipped cream or topping and a cherry before serving.
