Fluffy Peppermint Pie
Ingredients and Supplies
  • 1 1/2 cups Oreo cookie pieces, crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 30 large marshmallows
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 cups heavy whipping cream
  • Red food color
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint flavoring
  • 1/4 cup peppermint crunch
Crust: Mix cookie crumbs, sugar and butter. Press evenly in bottom and up side of ungreased 9" pie plate. Filling: Place marshmallows and milk in large microwavable bowl. Microwave uncovered, a few seconds at a time and stirring between times, until marshmallows are melted. Refrigerate about 25 minutes. Beat whipping cream, food color and and peppermint in chilled bowl on high speed until stiff. Stir marshmallow/milk mixture until well blended, then fold into whipped cream mixture. Fold in crushed candies. Mound mixture into crust. Cover and freeze about 5 hours. Garnish with peppermint pinwheel candy which has been dipped in pink candy coating.
