  • Creme Brulee Mix
  • Flavored Caramelizing Sugars
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup half and half
Whisk until smooth, heavy whipping cream with half and half and Crème Brulee Quick Mixx, or make your own recipe from scratch. Pour into 2 quaart pan and bring mixture to a boil over medium heat, stirring constantly. Simmer and stir for an additional minute. Mixture will be thin. Divide evenly among 4 individual-serving ramekins. Chill for at least one hour and up to 24 hours if kept covered and refrigerated. Just before serving, sprinkle tops of custard evenly with caramelizing sugar topping. Use a culinary torch to caramelize the sugar or preheat broiler and broil about 3" from heat source, watching constantly for 2 to 4 minutes, just until sugar melts, forming a glossy crust. Garnish with fruit. Makes 4-1/2 cup servings. Note: Mix comes with caramelizing sugar. If making from scratch, try the various flavors in the flavored caramelizing sugar set.
