Strawberry Red Velvet Cupcake Recipe

- Cake:
- Red Velvet Cake Mix
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup melted butter, cooled
- 1-2 tablespoons Amoretti Wild Strawberry Flavor
- 1/4 cup water
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Bean Paste
- Embellish with:
- Sliced Strawberries or
- Strawberry Candy Crunch
- FlavorRight Custom Ice Buttercream-Style Icing
- 2 cups FlavorRight Custom Ice
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1-2 tablespoons Amoretti Wild Strawberry Flavor
Wild Strawberry Red Velvet Cake:
1. Preheat oven to 350°F and grease and flour baking pans. For cupcakes, add liners.
2. In a large bowl, combine eggs, butter, Wild Strawberry flavor, water, sour cream and vanilla.
3. Add cake mix and beat at medium speed for 2 minutes.
4. Divide batter equally among pans.
5. bake accoring to pan size. Cupcakes:16-22 minutes. 2 - 8 or 9 inch pans: 25-30 minutes.
6. Cool cakes on wire rack.
FlavorRight Custom Ice Buttercream-Style Icing:
1. Follow the package direction for desired buttercream.
2. Add 1-2 tablespoons Amoretti Wild Strawberry Natural Flavoring intil combined for strawberry buttercream, or use as is.
3. Add fresh strawberry slices or strawberry candy crunch to top of cake or cupcakes.
