Ingredients and Supplies
2 2/3 cups sugar
1 cup butter
1 1/3 cups non-dairy liquid cream substitute
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 pound white candy coating wafers
4 cups miniature marshmallows
1 teaspoon vanilla
10 oz. Oreo pieces

Combine sugar, butter, cream substitute and salt in a large saucepan. Cook to 238 degrees without stirring. Remove from heat and stir in marshmallows. Let cool a bit, then stir in melted white candy coating until well blended. Stir in vanilla. Gently fold Oreo pieces into mixture. (Do not use crumbs or mixture will turn grey.) Pack into a parchment-lined 9" square pan. Cut into squares when cool.
