Christmas Potpourri
Ingredients and Supplies
  • cinnamon oil
  • paramount crystals
  • 1/2 pound dark green candy coating
  • 1/2 pound dark chocolate candy coating
  • 1 pound white candy coating
  • 1 1/8 pound pink candy coating
  • 2/3 pound red candy coating
  • 100 wafer paper leaves, holly
  • 3 cups fried chinese noodles
  • 3 cups raw chip coconut
  • 3 cups corn flakes
  • 3 cups raisin bran flakes
  • 3 cups kix
  • 3 cups popped popcorn
  • 1/2 pound salted raosted peanuts
  • 1/2 pound tiny cinnamon jelly beans
LEAVES
Melt 1/4 pound dark green candy coating. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 16 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Dip holly wafer paper leaves into the green candy coating. Place on parchment paper or silicone mat to set.
STICKS
Melt 1/2 pound dark chocolate candy coating. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 32 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Pour over 3 cups fried Chinese noodles. Gently stir. Spoon onto a silicone mat or parchment paper, separating a spoonful at a time.
WHITE FLOWER PETALS
Melt 1/2 pound white candy coating. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 32 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Pour over 3 cups raw chip coconut. Gently stir. Spoon onto a silicone mat or parchment paper, separating a spoonful at a time.
PINK FLOWER PETALS
Melt 1/2 pound pink candy coating. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 32 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Pour over 3 cups of corn flakes. Gently stir. Spoon onto a silicone mat or parchment paper, separating a spoonful at a time.
DARK PINK FLOWER PETALS
Melt 1/2 pound pink candy coating with 12 pieces of red candy coating. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 32 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Pour over 3 cups of raisin bran flakes. Gently stir. Spoon onto a silicone mat or parchment paper, separating a spoonful at a time.
RED BERRIES
Melt 1/2 pound red candy coating. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 32 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Pour over 3 cups Kix®. Gently stir. Spoon onto a silicone mat or parchment paper, separating a spoonful at a time.
LIGHT PINK BLOSSOMS
Melt 1/2 pound white candy coating with six pink candy wafers. Add three tablespoons paramount crystals. Stir in 32 drops cinnamon oil or concentrated flavor. Pour over 3 cups popped popcorn. Gently stir. Spoon onto a silicone mat or parchment paper, separating a spoonful at a time.
INSTRUCTIONS
When all mixtures are set up, wear a pair of white cotton gloves and put all mixtures into a very large container. Add 1/2 pound salted roasted peanuts and 1/2 pound tiny cinnamon jelly beans. Gently toss.
