Candy Center with Sugar and Crumbs

Ingredients and Supplies
- 1/3 cup softened butter
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup
- 1 pound desired flavor Sugar & Crumbs (453 grams)
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- food color, optional
Use any desired Sugar and Crumbs flavored sugars to create a delicious candy center. The sugars do not color the candy center. Add food color if desired.
Blend butter, corn syrup, and salt in a large mixing bowl. Add Sugar and Crumbs sugar all at once. Mix together, first with a spoon, then with hands, kneading well. Turn out onto a board and continue kneading until mixture is well blended and smooth, adding more powdered sugar if necessary. Store the wrapped fondant in a tight container in a cool place.
