Cakesicles Treat Recipe for Valentine's Day

Creating these pastel cakesicles is a fun and delightful way to celebrate Valentine's Day. Not only are they charming and visually appealing, but they also offer a delicious treat that embodies the spirit of love and sweetness. Ingredients

  • 1 pound Super White Chocolate Melts
  • Pink Champagne Designer Luster Dust
  • White Cake Mix
  • Buttercream
  • Red Shimmer Nonpareils
  • White Shimmer Nonpareils

Instructions

Melt white chocolate candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl using 20-second intervals, stirring between each interval.
Pour a small amount of melted chocolate into each mold cavity, coat the sides using a brush, tap to settle, and invert to remove excess chocolate.
Insert a popsicle stick into the coated mold to make a way and remove, allow it to set at room temperature or refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
Preparing Cake Filling: Crumble cake pieces in a bowl and mix with a small amount of frosting until a dough-like consistency is achieved. Adjust frosting as needed.
Paint more chocolate on the sides of the set chocolate-lined mold, ensuring to cover the bottom where the stick comes through. Insert a popsicle stick to make way and remove. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Assembling Cakesicles: Fill each cavity with the cake pop mixture, leaving room to seal with chocolate. Insert popsicle stick, press down any cake that comes up. Seal with melted chocolate and refrigerate for 15-20 minutes.
Unmolding and Decorating: Gently remove cakesicles from the mold by pulling it away from the perimeter and pressing on the back to release them fully. Place on a sheet of parchment.
Add a teaspoon of luster dust to a cup of non-pareils and stir well. Tilt cup and gently rock cakesicle back and forth, coating chocolate with luster dust. Stir non-pareils often as dust tends to settle in bottom of cup. Add more dust as needed.
Drizzle each cakesicle with melted chocolate and immediately add sprinkles.
