Ingredients and Supplies
- 8" cake
- yellow rolled fondant
- orange, pink, red and brown fondant
- piping gel
In advance, roll out orange, pink, red and brown fondant and cut out several pieces of each color using a variety of the jacobean cutters. Allow to dry completely. Cover 8" cake with yellow rolled fondant. Cut out several yellow pieces with the same cutter and while still flexible attach to base of cake with piping gel. Use red and orange fondant to cut thin strips and layer the red on top of the orange to create stems and branches. Attach and layer pieces on top and sides using piping gel. Use a variety of pieces that have edges that line up nicely together.
