Start piping the feathers with red buttercream, beginning on the left side of the cookie and working your way to the right, following the natural curvature of the cookie. Pipe zig-zag lines to create the feather pattern.
Repeat the process with orange buttercream, overlapping the red feathers. Then repeat with yellow buttercream until you complete the fan of feathers.
Piping the Body:
Prepare chocolate buttercream in a piping bag fitted with a #12 tip.
Pipe the turkey's head and body onto the cookie using the chocolate buttercream.
Adding Details:
Add two small icing eyes onto the turkey's head.
Pipe the beak using orange buttercream, the snood (the fleshy appendage on the turkey's neck) using red buttercream, and the feet using yellow buttercream.
Finishing Touches:
Spray the decorated cookie with white jewel dust to add sparkle and enhance its visual appeal.
