Ingredients and Supplies
  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ½ cup Love’n Bake© Pistachio Nut Paste
  • ¾ cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 ¾ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ½ cup buttermilk
  • ½ cup chopped chocolate or chips
  • ½ cup chopped dried cherries
  • ½ cup chopped pistachios
  • 8" x 4" loaf pan
Preheat oven to 325° and grease 8" x 4" loaf pan. Put butter, nut paste and sugar in bowl of a mixer fitted with paddle. Cream on medium until well blended and fluffy. Scrape bowl. Add eggs and extracts and mix until well blended. In separate bowl blend dry ingredients. Alternate adding dry ingredients and buttermilk. Stir in chopped chocolate, chopped cherries and nuts. Pour batter into prepared pan and bake about 1 hour until toothpick comes out clean. Cool loaf in pan on wire rack.
