Instructions:
Several days ahead, spray paint two 10" plates and four pillars with Pearl Shimmer.  Do 
not paint the bottom side of the plate that will be touching the icing. 
A day ahead make with royal icing- 42 #104 white roses.  When roses harden, brush with 
Super Pearl Luster Dust.   
Assembly: For ease in lifting board when cake is on it, glue Bush studs to 18" masonite 
board.  Cover masonite with white foil, taping at the bottom to attach.  Place 16"  cake on 
the masonite board and ice with buttercream icing.  Attach Bush pegs to 12" plate.  Cut 
six plastic dowel rods length of Bush pegs.  Push plastic rods into 16" cake, resting on 
foil-covered masonite board (place plastic rods in area that will be covered by 12" cake).  
Place 12" cake on 12" foil-covered cardboard.  Ice and slide cake onto 12" plate which is 
on 16" cake. Cut four plastic dowel rods  the exact height of the 12" cake.  Push plastic 
rods  into the 12" cake (place plastic rods in an area that will be covered by the 10" plate. 
Attach separator pegs to a 10" plate, (pegs should be same length as plastic rods). Push 
the 10" plate with attached pegs,  centered, into the 12" cake.  Place 8" cake on 10" 
scalloped plate and ice 8" cake.   Cut four plastic dowel rods length of Bush pegs. Push 
plastic rods into 8" cake for extra support (place plastic rods in area that will be covered 
by 6" cake).  Push Bush pegs into the 6" plate and push the 6" plate and pegs into the 8" 
cake.  Place 6" cake on 6" foil-covered cardboard.  Ice and slide onto 6" plate which is on 
8" cake.   
Decorating: Decorate with buttercream icing.   Pipe borders with tip #18.  Pipe side 
borders with tips #'s 340, 102, and 1.  Attach cascades of roses with icing.  Pipe leaves 
with green buttercream icing and tip #349.  Pillar top two cakes with bottom cakes.   
Place Dreamsicles on the cake.  Note:  The topper was put together with the ornament 
parts listed above and a glue gun. Find the special lace on the ornament at a fabric store.   
Cake serves approximately 150.
