Ingredients and Supplies
1 pound butter, softened
1 cup confectioner’s sugar
3 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup cornstarch
3 tablespoons edible white glitter

Preheat oven to 325°F. In a large bowl, beat the butter and confectioner’s sugar with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. n a separate bowl, combine flour and cornstarch. Add to butter mixture and beat for 5 to 8 minutes until batter is soft and fluffy. Fit a cookie press with a star disc and fill with cookie dough. Press cookies onto ungreased cookie sheets. Sprinkle with edible glitter. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven. Cookies will not brown on top. After 8 minutes check the bottom side of a cookie. Cool cookies on the cookie sheet for a few minutes before transferring to wire racks to cool completely. To decorate cookies: Melt white candy coating. Put into a pastry bag with a tight point and cut a very small hole. Pipe snowflake designs on cookie. Store cookies in an airtight tin for up to two weeks.
