Ingredients and Supplies
1/2 pound Peter's caramel
1/2 can sweetened condensed milk
1/2 stick butter
3 T. invert sugar
3 T. water
1/2 pound real chocolate
Various dried fruits

Caramel Dip: In a heavy saucepan, melt caramel, sweetened condensed milk and butter together, stirring occassionally. Chocolate Dip: Melt chocolate. Warm 3 tablespoons invert sugar with 3 tablespoons water, making it the same temperature as the melted chocolate. Stir invert-water mixture into the melted chocolate. Finishing: Pour the chocolate dip into the chocolate fondue pot, filling only 1/2 way. Pour the caramel dip over the chocolate dip and with a cake tester, swirl the two dips. Place filled fondue pot on a large flat plate and add dried and crispy fruits for dipping. Shown: banana chips, apple chips, dried apricots and dried pineapple.
