assorted food color
clay extruder
piping gel

Instructions
Bake and cool cakes. Lightly ice cakes with buttercream. Color fondant as needed for each animal.
For elephant: Cover cake with fondant; add wrinkles to trunk and legs using modeling tools. Using a sharp knife, cut out an ear and attach to cake with piping gel. Place a cotton ball behind the ear to give the ear shape. Once fondant dries completely, remove cotton ball. Roll small ball for eye and attach with piping gel.>br>For giraffe: Cover cake with fondant. Roll small balls of light brown fondant and roll with rolling pin for spots then attach with piping gel. Use ball tool to make nostrils and roll small black balls for the eyes, a small snake-like piece for the mouth and attach with piping gel. Using the smallest holed disc in the extruder, push light brown fondant through the extruder to make hair. Attach hair with piping gel.
For lion: Cover cake with fondant. Roll orange-yellow pieces of fondant for the ears and the lions snout and attach with piping gel. Roll black balls for eyes and a nose and attach with piping gel. Using the smallest holed disc in the extruder, push orange fondant through the extruder to make the lions mane and tail. Attach hair with piping gel.
