sugar cookie dough
hard candy turkey sucker mold
non-stick cooking spray
sucker sticks
baking sheet
milk chocolate candy coating
parchment paper
luster dusts
black food color

Lightly spray turkey hard candy/cookie mold. Push dough into sprayed turkey cavities, pushing dough away from the outside edges a bit to get a clean edge. Place 6" sucker stick in dough and cavity on the mold, being sure dough fully covers the stick in the turkey area of the mold. Place filled mold on a shiny baking sheet and bake until dough is just starting to brown in a 340 degree oven. Let cookie nearly cool in mold, then turn mold over carefully and let cookie gently fall from mold. When cookie is completely cool, ice the back of the turkey with melted candy coating and place on parchment paper. Brush dry luster dusts over the front of the turkey in various colors. With a fine brush and black food coloring, make a dot for the eye.
