Using pastry bag fitted with large star tip, pipe buttercream icing on to cupcake. Place lay-on on top of cupcake. Using red piping gel, accent cupcake with blood spots.
Color small amount of fondant black, a smaller amount red, and a larger amount flesh; be sure to leave some white for the sharp teeth. Roll flesh colored fondant and cut round pieces with 3" cutter. Roll black fondant and half of a round piece. Use a sharp knife to cut out pieces to resemble vampires head. Attach to top of cupcake with thin layer of buttercream icing. Smooth pieces together. Mold small pieces of flesh colored fondant for ears and nose; attach with clear piping gel. Using a sharp knife, cut out eyebrows and mouth; attach with clear gel. Cut out eyes and roll small red balls for eyeballs; attach with clear gel. Cut teeth out of white fondant and attach with clear gel.
