Scarecrow Pumpkin Cake Pops
Ingredients and Supplies
cake pop mixture
sucker sticks
orange candy coating
butterscotch or light brown candy coating
dark green candy coating
black candy coating
blue candy coating
parchment triangles
paramount crystals
mini marshmallows
orange rolled fondant
blue rolled fondant
yellow rolled fondant
round cutter - approximately 2"
toasted coconut
pretzel sticks
Instructions
Scarecrow - roll cake mixture in to a ball and prepare ball with sucker stick. Dip pop into the melted butterscotch coating and allow to dry. Drizzle a small amount of coating over the top and back side of cake pop and sprinkle with toasted coconut. Using small parchment bags filled with appropriate colors, detail eyes, nose, mouth, and stitches. To make hat, cut orange fondant with round cutter. Using pastry wheel, go around the edge of the piece to make it wavy. Form the piece over half of a mini marshmallow to look like a hat; allow piece to dry. Attach patches with piping gel and detail stitches with black candy coating. Use melted candy coating to attach hat to top of scarecrows head.

Pumpkins - roll cake mixture in to a ball and prepare ball with sucker stick. Use a modeling tool to make indents in the pop to resemble a pumpkin; dip pop into the orange candy coating. Break off a small piece of pretzel, dip into green candy coating, and place on top of pumpkin.

Hay bales - form cake mixture into a rectangle with rounded edges; then squeeze the center inward. Prepare shape with sucker stick then dip into yellow/brown candy coating and allow to dry. Using the same color coating, prepare a parchment bag with a very small opening to make lines resembling hay by drizzling up and down the shape. Allow to dry then using the same coating the scarecrow was dipped in, make a rope around the middle of bale.
