Ingredients and Supplies
pie dough
5" or larger cookie cutter
parchment paper or silicone mat
whipping cream
pastry filling
sanding sugars

Roll out pie dough and cut out shape using cookie cutters (5" or larger). Set aside. Place same cookie cutter on parchment paper or silicone-lined baking sheet. Roll out pie dough and and line sides and bottom of cookie cutter. Fill with desired filling and place cut-out shaped pie dough. Attach top crust to bottom crust with whipping cream. Brush whipping cream over the top and decorate with sugars. Bake at 375 degrees until crust is golden. When pie has cooled, attach eyes and other decorations with piping gel. Note: Gingerbread boy is made from 6" copper cutter.
