Ingredients and Supplies
1 basic pie dough
cherry pie filling
red food color
green food color
1 egg yolk
pastry cloth and rolling pin cover
pie plate
butterfly cookie cutter
holly cookie cutter

Roll out bottom crust and place in pan. Fill unbaked crust with pie filling. Cut out holly leaves from pie dough. Mix 1 egg yolk with 2-3 tablespoons water. Add food coloring to make red and green. Using green egg wash as glue to hold holly leaves together, layer holly leaves around outside edge of crust to form a wreath pie crust. Use butterfly cutter to make bow. Attach bow to holly leaves using the green egg wash. Hand cut two pieces of dough into tails for the bow. Attach to bow using egg wash. Brush top of bow and tails with red egg wash. Cut out berries or roll pie dough between thumb and finger to form berries. Brush berries with red egg wash. Bake pie at 400┬░F until crust is golden brown, 25-30 minutes.
