Candy writers are candy coating in a tube and makes painting molds and detailing finished candies easy! Melt candy writers by using one of the following methods. The tube should feel warm, not hot.
Place a candy writer tube in the microwave for a few seconds at a time, kneading between intervals. Careful---candy can be easily scorched.
Turn an electric skillet on the lowest setting. Line with 5 or 6 dry dish towels. Place the candy writers on the towels and put the lid on the skillet until candy is fluid. (Takes one to two hours.) Keep candy writers in skillet while not using.
Turn heating pad on lowest setting. Place candy writers in heating pad until fluid. (Takes one to two hours.) Keep candy writers in heating pad while not using.
