Mints from Candy Coating
These instructions are using candy coating. Candy coating contains palm kernel oil or other fats
and requires NO tempering. You simply melt it down and it's ready to go! 
SUPPLIES NEEDED
Candy Coating
Candy Coloring (optional)
Concentrated Flavor or Oil
     (peppermint most popular)
1 Tablespoon paramount crystals
Squeeze Bottle
Candy Molds
Melt candy coating.  Add coloring if an exact color is wanted.  Add 12-15 drops of
concentrated flavors or oil.   Add paramount crystals to make the mints creamier.  Pour into
squeeze bottle.  Squirt melted candy into molds.  Tap to even out and get rid of air bubbles.
Place in freezer for a few minutes until the candy feels cold and the mold is cloudy.  The candy
should pop right out,  if they do not, leave in the freezer a little longer.

Two Color Mints
SUPPLIES NEEDED
Candy Coating in Main Color
Candy Writer for small details
Candy Coloring (optional)
Concentrated Flavor or Oil (peppermint most popular)
1 Tablespoon paramount crystals
Squeeze Bottle
Candy Molds
Melt candy coating.  Add coloring if an exact color is wanted.  Add 12-15 drops of
concentrated flavors or oil.   Add paramount crystals to make the mints creamier.  Pour into
squeeze bottle.  With melted candy from candy writers, squeeze the candy directly into a
clean dry mold, painting the details.  Let the detail set up at room temperature.  When the
details are completely set up, fill the mold cavities with the main color.  Place the mold in
the freezer.  When cold, the candy will fall from the mold. 

Shimmery Mints
Follow the instructions above for candy coating mints.  When finished mints come to room
temperature, brush  with shimmery dusts.
The following mints were made in white coating, then brushed on with various colors of dusts.
