Barks are probably the quickest, easiest and most economical candy you can make. Candy crunches and Barks are made by mixing a crunchy food product with chocolate. Mix your favorite cereal, broken pretzel pieces, nuts, or try some of our commercial crunches with chocolate! The possibilities are endless!
The following are some of our favorite combinations. For the crunches below, we recommend using one pound of candy coating to one half bag of crunch.

SUPPLIES NEEDED Candy Coating Crunch
Melt candy coating, add any amount of a crunchy food product (depending how crunchy you want) and spread on waxed paper. The thinner you spread out the bark, the easier it will be to break up. *To cut in neat pieces, when candy is "just set" score into squares. When candy is hard, it will break into squares.
Shown: Tiger Butter (Top) Melt one pound peanut butter coating and spread on parchement paper. Spoon on about 1/4 cup of melted milk chocolate flavored coating over the melted peanut butter coating. Marbleize with a knife. When candy is "just set" score into squares. When candy is hard, it will break into squares. Crisp Rice Crunch and Cocoa Lite (Bottom)
SUPPLIES NEEDED Candy Coating Crunch Candy Molds
Melt candy coating, add any amount of a crunchy food product (depending how crunchy you want). Spoon into candy molds. Place into freezer to harden. When the mold feels cloudy and the candy feels cold, invert the mold and the candy will drop from the mold.
Shown: Easter Break Up Bark: (Top) With melted candy from candy writers, paint details of mold. Allow to set up at room temperature. Mix 1 pound white chocolate coating and 1/2 bag lemon crunch. When details are set, spoon in crunch mixture. Tap to even out and get rid of air bubbles. Place into freezer to harden. When the mold feels cloudy and the candy feels cold, invert the mold and the candy will drop from the mold. Thank you Bar: (Bottom Right) Melt 1 pound white chocolate coating and add 1/2 bag peppermint crunch. Spoon crunch mixture in candy mold. Tap to even out and get rid of air bubbles. Place into freezer to harden. When the mold feels cloudy and the candy feels cold, invert the mold and the candy will drop from the mold. Crunch Cup: (Bottom Left) Melt 1 pound white chocolate coating and add 1/2 bag lemon crunch. Spoon crunch mixture in candy mold. Tap to even out and get rid of air bubbles.
